Even though it is a pickling type cucumber, it is as crisp, light, and refreshing as a slicing cucumber, with a sublime sweetness not found in other cucumbers. Chicago Pickling was a popular Midwest heirloom variety since its release in 1888 by D.M. Ferry of Detroit. Plants are vigorous and have some disease resistance.
Gorgeous vines produce small, tiger-striped fruit with excellent crunch and tangy, citrus flavor. Also known as Mexican Sour Gherkins, these open-pollinated plants produce best in heat. Can be grown in containers with trellising as vines rarely exceed 8' in length. Fruit has excellent flavor and a crunchy texture that holds up well to pickling. Harvest at 1".
Diva's seedless, thin-skinned cucumbers are distinctly crisp, sweet, and bitter-free. A fantastic variety for the home garden. Harvest at 5–7". Parthenocarpic, so it produces seedless fruit without requiring pollination or fertilization. AAS Winner. Hybrid.
Our earliest, most productive classic slicer. Gateway offers strong disease resistance. Vigorous vines provide high yields, resilience, and extended production later into the season. The shape, size, and color of a lemon, but with sweet cucumber flavor! The tasty fruit is low in cucurbitacin, a naturally occurring cucumber chemical that accounts for a slightly bitter taste. Ideal in salads! Fantastic for kids’ gardens, it is one of our all-time favorite garden crops! Heirloom.

Marketmore 76 remains the most widely-planted open-pollinated slicer in the US! Dark green fruits stay green and mild-tasting even under heat stress, while multiple disease resistances keep plants vigorous and highly productive across a long picking season. Harvest at 8-9”.
Short, thick cucumbers with blunt ends are perfect for pickles and delicious in salads. Fruits have striped, medium green skin and a slightly tapered shape to fit in a pickle jar. A heavy producer with black spines, 5” fruit, open-pollinated.
Delicious patio cucumber. Exceptionally compact vine makes Quick Snack perfect for growing in containers. Tidy plants are early to produce copious amounts of tasty 2–4" cocktail cucumbers. Plants benefit from support, like from a tomato cage. Bitter free. Parthenocarpic, so it produces seedless fruit without requiring pollination or fertilization.
High-performing Japanese type. Dark, glossy, and very attractive. Maintains crispness and a uniform shape over a wide range of sizes, so you can harvest anywhere from 8–12" long. Small seed cavities and delightful sweetness. Fully gynoecious and parthenocarpic, which is unique for its type. Hybrid.
Unagi is the cucumber we didn't know we needed, but now can't live without. Glossy, spineless cukes with tiny seed cavities, crisp texture, and excellent flavor. A prolific yielder of remarkably straight, uniform fruits. Harvest at 9–11" long (or smaller, if you prefer). Stays crisp and delicious up to 14". Strong disease resistance package. Hybrid.
