Arugula, Esmee
Beautiful, fine leaves are incised with rounded oak-leaf shape. A wonderful flavor that is more nutty than spicy sets Esmee apart from other arugulas. Deeply lobed leaves are upright, lofty and the darkest green of all our arugulas. Quick growing and very cold tolerant.
Chard, Rainbow
Striking improved blend of red, pink, white, yellow and gold stems. Upright habit makes for clean production and easy harvesting. Color intensity is not as well defined early on; mostly pink, red and white at baby stage. Grow to full size for a dazzling display! Narrow to broad stems, Upright, easy to harvest.
Collards, Champion
Selected to hold in the field up to two weeks longer than other varieties for an extended harvest. Rich blue-green cabbage-like leaves. Plants are bolt resistant, productive and hardy. Waxy leaf surface provides some natural protection from cabbage worms. Improved Vates-type. 24-36" tall, compact habit, open-pollinated.
Collards, Ole Timey Blue
Beauty and kale-like flavor combine in this historic variety. We adore the 2’ tall, majestic blue-green leaves streaked with purple veins. Large leaves and upright growth make for an easy harvest. Collards have the same flavor and health benefits as kale. With deep Southern roots tracing back over a century, this variety has acclimated to the Michigan climate. A traditional African-American recipe calls for long-cooking collard greens with smoked/salted meat such as ham hocks which makes them extra tender and flavorful.
Kale, Curly Roja
Densely frilled leaf edges, stunning purple-sage color, deep purple stems and cold- hardiness are all elements of an exquisite kale bunch that holds well after harvest. This hybrid does especially well under fertile conditions. Edible and ornamental, 16-18" plants.
Kale, Darkibor
Dark green with excellent flavor, this hybrid kale produces best in spring and fall. Tall hybrid plants provide high yields of densely curled greens. Vigorous plants hold well into cold weather and are suited to overwintering production in protected areas. Resists yellowing, 18-36" tall.
Kale, Lacinato, Black Magic
Uniform Lacinato-type with striking, deep blue-green leaves and excellent flavor. Productive plants are tidy with long, upright leaves that make for easy harvest. Plants are cold and bolt resistant and produce multitudes of beautifully savoyed leaves, perfect for full-size production or whole-plant harvest. Plants are 24-36" tall. Open-pollinated.
Kale, Lacinato, Dazzling Blue
Dazzling Blue is an heirloom lacinato (aka dinosaur) type kale with blue-green savoyed leaves that turn under at the edges, and a bright purple stem in the middle. Great classic dino kale tenderness and taste, and more cold hardy than the standard lacinato varieties.
Kale, Lacinato, Mamba
Mamba is a hybrid lacinato (aka dinosaur) type kale with savoyed leaves that turn under at the edges, and a bright white stem in the middle. A robust variety with high yields on exceptionally uniform plants. Great classic dino kale tenderness and taste.
Kale, Red Russian
Bright purple stems and slate green, deeply lobed foliage. Leaves are tender, smooth and very sweet compared to other kales. An incredibly cold tolerant variety that improves in flavor with cold weather. Popular ingredient in baby leaf salad mixes or as full size bunches. This heirloom strain has very smooth baby leaves. 24-36" tall.
Kale, Redbor
Frilly deep purple-red leaves on extremely uniform plants. Similar to Winterbor in everything but color. Flavor, color, and curling are enhanced by cold weather. Hybrid.

Lettuce, Bergams Green Leaf
Dependable green leaf lettuce for full-size heads. Bergam's Green has dark green savoyed leaves with a wavy leaf margin. Uniform, dense heads are high yielding with good flavor, excellent for summer sandwiches. For spring, summer, and fall harvest. Widely adapted.
Lettuce, Grand Rapids
Grand Rapids heirloom lettuce is bright green, with wavy, frilled leaves. Harvest leaves, or if left to mature it forms a head of loose leaves that reach 7-8” tall. It is very vigorous and bolt resistant.
Lettuce, Rainier Romaine
Large romaine lettuce for full sized heads. Plants are vigorous with a strong disease package. The dense interior is packed with crispy, sweet leaves that are very uniform. Plants are dark green, upright and clean, making for efficient harvesting.
Lettuce, Red Fire
A highly prolific, ruffled, red leaf lettuce with colorful crisp heads and excellent V-shape. Early maturing with heat and disease tolerance. Leaves are bright red with an apple-green interior and are slow to tip burn.
Lettuce, Salanova Green Butterhead
Dense rosette heads with attractive, thin, supple leaves. Heads have a round base with open leaf growth. Delicate, buttery flavor. Great for harvesting a whole head or used in a salad mix. Very good bolt tolerance.
Pac Choy, Prize
Elegant vase-like shape, medium thick white stems and smooth, mild flavor. The best open-pollinated full sized pac choy! Prefers cool weather, but is slow to bolt in heat.
Spinach, Space
Vigorous, all season hybrid spinach with thick, glossy leaves that are smooth to slightly savoyed. A favorite variety of commercial growers, the plants are highly resistant to downy mildew and perform well in variable weather for all season production. Resistant to bolting with deep green leaves that maintain excellent flavor. A high yielder due to the long harvest window and exceptional field holding quality.
